About us
Essential Works is a book production company, also sometimes referred to as a book packager. We are based in London.
The books we produce are published by our clients around the world, which include Random House, Penguin, HarperCollins, Hachette, Macmillan, Sterling, Reader’s Digest, Reed, Andrews McMeel and Barnes and Noble.
Our in house team of editors, writers and designers produce books on various subjects in the area of non-fiction for our clients. Most of our books are illustrated and are often listed in bookstores under pop-culture, lifestyle, reference, automotive, humour and gifts, or health.
We also produce books-to-order for corporate clients and provide a variety of publishing services from concept creation through to finished copies delivered to warehouse. Recent contracts that we have fulfilled include those with Hasbro Inc. and The Newspaper Marketing Agency.
