Karen Krizanovich

Journalist, author, broadcaster

Chicago-born, Karen moved to the UK in the early 1980s and promptly became the country’s first female sex counsellor for teenagers, on Sky magazine. Her column, Dear Karen continues to receive mail, even though it hasn’t run for several years. A regular pundit on TV shows where she comments on cultural matters (and sex), Karen regularly writes for Cosmopolitan magazine, the Observer newspaper and has a syndicated column in over 30 local newspapers. She wrote Bad Advice in 2005 for Penguin US imprint Chamberlain Brothers, and it earned rave reviews from female critics who bravely followed some of the ‘advice’ contained in the book. Karen is also a ghost writer and biographer. She is currently researching The Booty Bible as both a book and possible TV series.
