Journalist and writer Seth Freedman is a regular contributor to the Jerusalem Post and Guardian on-line, where his contributions have prompted record responses from readers. Originally from North London, Seth went straight from school in Camden to become a City trader. After six hugely successful if turbulent years however, he swapped Armani for the Army when he enlisted in the Israeli Defence Force. Giving up his high-living, hedonistic lifestyle Seth became one of thirty ‘lone soldiers’ admitted to the IDF in November 2004. He left in 2006 having kept diaries throughout his service.
