Wanted! Stories of the jilted for site, book and TV project
Last updated 23 March 07
We’ve all either left a lover, or been left by one. Rarely do we get it exactly right, and sometimes we get it spectacularly wrong. 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover is a website, book and TV programme which tells true-life stories of dumping, and being dumped. From the ridiculous to the sublime, some of the tales of leaving are hilarious while others are heart-breaking. They can help you make up your mind about how you want to dump, or prepare you for being dumped — and we all need some help with this sort of thing. So if you’re a guilty love-rat or an abandoned sweetheart with a wild tale to tell, send us your story and we’ll tell the world (although you can contribute anonymously).
Post your story on our web site right now: www.50waysto.net
Remember, the best story will win an iPod!
And you could also be asked to take part in a new TV programme presented by journalist and broadcaster Karen Krizanovitch. In it, Karen gives expert advice to people who want to leave their lover in the nicest — or firmest — way possible. There is also a book coming.
We’ve already had some hilarious stories — to read the tales of dumping and dumpees and maybe pick up a few tips take a look at the site.
50 Ways to Leave Your Lover is scheduled to be broadcast in Autumn 2007.
